I was pretty mad.

Left tackle. Oh, that bad left tackle couldn't protect.

Got running back rolling on my knee. Okay, so I want to go back.

You could have played again. You were the highest rated pass blocking left tackle, I think,

one or two in the NFL. So at some point, you have your health. You never played for money.

You've done well. Why did you retire? I think for me it really came down to, I've accomplished a lot

of what I wanted to in my career. And there's a lot of things that I've

gotten the opportunity to do in football that have been just unbelievable. A lot of people I've gotten to

be a part of teams with and be coached by and just, you know, chase the dream of winning a Super

Bowl. And I think when I really looked at it going into the postseason, I felt like no matter how

this game ends, you've done it all, you've had an amazing experience, and let's just treat it as this is one last ride and see what happens. And so when you win the Super Bowl, when you take that approach, you got to go with what your gut was. And I thought for me it was not that I couldn't come back next year and be a great left tackle, but that I've done it.

I'm 40 years old.

I've accomplished a lot, and it's time to move on to the next journey.
