The deal that the Jets made is one that they did with their eyes wide open.

Once they traded for Aaron Rogers and brought him in and he effectively became not only the de facto general manager, the de facto head coach,

but the de facto spokesman for this team and his pulpit or his podium is the Pat McAfee show on

E-SPN every Tuesday afternoon.

The Jets had no recourse but to do that because just like we

listen to Robert Sala each and every week, he doesn't seem to have the answers.

And the Jets as an organization,

they don't have any answers on how to build a franchise,

because they've tried.

So this is the deal that they had to make with the devil.
