Jim Harbaugh stopped by just about an hour ago, precisely, and the new Bolt's head coach

stopped in, and we had a really bad interview years and

years ago, but then we had a good interview at the Super Bowl after it. Today was just fine. Jim came

in with a lot of enthusiasm, unknown to mankind, as he often says. I asked him, why did you

choose the L.A. Chargers? You know, there's eight, nine openings.

You were the top candidate.

Why are the Chargers?

I'm a Midwest guy, but then half of me is a California guy as well.

Graduated high school from Pali High in Palo Alto, California.

My first coaching job was with the Raiders when they were in Oakland. Then I went to

USDA. That was my first head coaching job, then Stanford, then the 49ers. My only coaching

job outside is Michigan. And now back here, there's definitely there's a, there's definitely an emotional, you know,

connection, not only to the team, but to the state and to, as Ronald Reagan said,

let me see if I can get this one right, if I remember it, you know, California is in a place.
