On Monday, the legal tampering period begins, and that's when we're going to start to see a lot of movement in NFL free agency. So let's preview it. Let's talk about it. I like this video thing we're doing now that I can see you. This is cool. it feels a little addition it feels like we're in the same room together

hey connor what are they just going to make free agency start on Monday instead of like this tampering thing, which is nonsense? I know. It's so silly. I remember there was a stretch probably for a couple of years a while ago where the NFL basically didn't want any information coming out during the legal

tampering period. So you had all the like the finagled words and semantics play of like

targeting, looking into. And then at some point of the last couple of years, it just ended again.

It was like, no, this guy's signing here, this guy's signing there. Yeah. Yes. You guys can't

be controlled. That's what it is. Yeah. Yeah. Where do you stand on the Kyler Murray stuff? Because he is a big reward if he could ever be the guy he was a few years ago. He doesn't feel like a fit with Frank Reich. But right now, I don't know what a fit is for the New York Jets. So what are you hearing on the Jets' interest level in Kyler Murray? Yeah. Let me answer this two ways, Evan. So the first one being the Jets perspective, they have not ruled anybody out.

And Aaron Glenn, going back to when I left the Combine this weekend,

had not told anybody, and I had talked to a ton within league circles,

what the Jets plan was at quarterback.

They are going to explore all

options. Those are free agent options. Those are trade options. Those are veteran options. And they're

going to decide what is best for this team. I think what ultimately the Jets end up doing is drafting

somebody, not necessarily in the first round, but drafting somebody at some point and then having

two veterans actually similar to what the Giants did when they had Russell Wilson, James Winston, and Jackson Dart. Ultimately, I think that's the direction the Jets will go. They have not ruled out Kyler Murray. They are discussing Kyla Murray. And if you want to say because they haven't ruled out and discussing, they're considering Kyler Murray, I think that's somewhat fair. Flip side of this, I think it would be a disaster if the Jets actually signed Kyle

Murray. This is just my opinion, but like everything that I've come to know about Aaron

Glenn is that he wants a quarterback who is one of 53, not one and 52. He doesn't want the

celebrity. He wants the guy that's going to be the first one in, the last one out, the

hardest worker, the leader. That's who he wants. That's the person and the player that he wants a quarterback. That does not describe Kyler Murray at all. I talked to a couple of coaches that coached him in Arizona. His coaches in Arizona who said there are durability issues, there are work ethic concerns, there are desirability concerns, there's love of the game concerns, he's not a particularly great leader. Now, people can change. Aaron Glenn does have this belief that once he gets his hands on guys and once guys come into his building, the Jets culture will turn people around. He has a relationship with Kyler Murray's dad. And certainly, if you're talking about raising a floor, Kyla Murray is the quarterback that can get you to six, seven, eight wins. But I just don't think he's the person necessarily that you want within the building. This isn't something the Jets are telling me. This is just connecting the dots of everything we've heard from Aaron Glenn over a year. And then what I know about Kyla Murray from talking. Yeah, and Connor, it feels to me that Frank Reich is not the ideal offensive coordinator for Kylea Murray either.

It's why I've been espousing Kurt Cousins because it just as a veteran who is, he's older, obviously.

He's 38. He's only here for a year, maybe even two, if you bring in Kirk Cousins.

But he's high football IQ quarterback, and that's what this team needs because they have

to win.
