A busy day, the breaking news out of East Tennessee perhaps bringing the NCAA to its

knees will have legal analysis on that coming up here in a few minutes. This is it. Federal judge granting a temporary

injunction in the Tennessee versus NCAA case and essentially NIL does not exist at this hour. It has been frozen so it is

truly a stupefying decision expected but still amazing to digest.

Just try to put this into perspective, what it could mean. We know it's going to be appealed but right now

the NCAA is in big trouble

Yeah, it's a like not enforce any of its NIL rules so

It was already happening as we know of players being tempted to go elsewhere

with bigger NIL deals in the transfer portal and even recruiting but now the

judge is saying nationally not just in the state of Tennessee, not just in the state of Virginia,

nationally that the N-S double A cannot enforce its rules, it cannot go after these schools, it cannot investigate them for NIL, quote-unquote, violations.

The rules are off the books.

There is no rules out there for NIL at this very moment and so the insub lay again chalking up yet another

big loss and of course they haven't won anything in the courtroom the last three years really since the Austin case and this will just

continue and again it's once again I wrote a column about this earlier in the week about

how the SEC and the Big Ten have become together, of course, to talk about the future
