Interesting to me, Jamal Murray, your priorities kind of really come through in pro

sports.

Like are you about winning your money?

Like, Carmelo's got a bigger brand. Westbrook is richer, but I'd rather be Jamal Murray. I'd rather be a winner, have rings, potentially multiple. Last night, he hits, you know, the game winner, never been an all-star, doesn't have the personal fame. And, you know, he's not going to get mobbed on the street outside of Denver. but it's interesting watching, what do you do with Jamal Murray? Like, I think, like, D. Wade, Steph Curry, like, I don't have to be the best player on the team. I want to win. Mello, that was really important. Mello got insecure when Jeremy Lynn had a good two weeks. Like, Mello had a winning situation in Denver and said, I want to be the man.

D. Wade's like, no, no, no, I'll step back. It could be Shaq. It could be LeBron. It could be, I'll step back. I want to win. Steph Curry, same thing. KD. He can take the shots. So that, to me, in these long seasons, hockey, basketball, baseball, where you get so much wear and tear in your body, travel just eats up

your life. I want to win games. NFL, like I understand a receiver saying, I want to get paid.

I got eight home games a year. This thing's beating up my body. It's a physical sport. Like in these

long, like basketball, you can play for like 17 years. It just wears you out. I've talked to players

and coaches who are like, I just, I'm done with the travel. Like, like, to me, what makes the travel tolerable in baseball is you're winning games. You're going on the road. You're the Atlanta Braves. You're just winning series and winning games. It makes that travel. And I look at Jamal Murray, and I'm like, you know, I know he's not going to be as rich as Westbrook or or have the brand as mellow.

But to be the number two, on some nights, he's the fourth most valuable guy on that team.
