It doesn't really matter. Solano's been released. Lowe designated. My guess is he'll end his way back up with Tacoma when it's said and done. But they call up Harry Ford and Leo Rivas. And I think it makes perfect sense, right? Start thinking through why this is and how it all went down. I love the idea of calling up Harry Ford. Said it earlier this morning. I think that they could really more than any other team use a third catcher. Why? Because on the days that their starting catcher doesn't catch, he DHS. And the guy who ends up starting a catcher, Mitch Garver, is someone you'd really like to at least have the option of pinch hitting or pinch running for late in the game. But you can't do that if it means that at the end of that inning, Cal's got to come in and catch. And then you lose the D.H. And now your pitcher's hitting. Not an ideal situation. So having Harry Ford on the lineup, even if he doesn't play, or having him in the roster, rather, even if he doesn't play, even if he barely starts, barely plays at all, totally fine. He just gives you another option. And this is what September call-ups used to be all about, giving a young player a taste
