injured list with a left hamstring strain.

Now, they also return Jonathan Loisica from the 60-day I.L. So, that means that I make

room on the 40 to bring Jonathan to the 26. Now, you get him on the 26 by obviously the Rodón

injury. So, the Yankees designated David Garcia for assignment. This was one of the top

prospects in their system a couple of years ago, and it all went awry. Designated for assignment.

Let's see if he gets through, maybe ends up back with Scranton, but that's exactly what I was

talking about with the Mets, where everything is predicated on all these guys they traded for

making into the big leagues. Who would have bet against David Garcia? Who would have bet against

David Garcia one day being designated for assignment? When he was on the top of the heap,

where everybody thought he was going to be a huge star, but that's what happened. They also

were called Nick Ramirez from Triple A Scranton. So, I guess there's another move that they did

send down Brito yesterday. So, Loisica will replace Brito and Ramirez will replace Rodón and David

Garcia is designated for assignment. Awful. I mean, the things that have gone wrong with the Yankees

when it comes to injuries and muscle pulls, it's unbelievable. And they employ one of the best

sports science guys in the world and Eric Cressy and they pay him a lot of money, and this is not

curbed any of these. Maybe he's not one of the best. Well, he's considered one of the best.
