I've been wanting to give this guy some credit, Brock, because I don't think that he's gotten very much of it this year, and I think he really does deserve it.

And I've heard it from people inside the building.

I've been thinking about it now for the last couple of weeks.

And I think you know how much I love him.

You can play the music if you want because you know how much I love me some Luis Castillo. But he has not gotten nearly enough credit, I think, for what he's done this year. And it feels like, it's funny, somebody who's just asked me the other day, like, oh, Louise, I'm going to the game. I don't really feel like he's going to do anything. Like, yeah, the numbers show Luis has been really good this year.

And my eyes think that he's been really good this year.

And I think some of the some of what he brings to the Mariners goes beyond just what he's done on the mound this year for the team.

But if you want to just start with the numbers, they're pretty great. And Lyle sent these over last night, some of the platoon splits for Luis this year that have been a little bit more manageable.

Lefties hitting 771 OPS this year, which is not, I mean, it's not great, but it's not as bad as it was last year, right?

We really struggled to get lefties out.

I think the change up has helped a little bit with that. ERA by month, 362 in April, three flat in May, 397 in

June, 2.05 in July, 318 in August. That's pretty good consistency. I mean, I know that not every
