I wanted to let you know that I retired after 43 years this week, and so I've got nothing to keep me out of the football game now.

Well that is a first of all that that's an extraordinary career tell us more about it.

Well I started and you know I always throw this name out with you so you kind of put it in context but in 1981 I started

coaching my first year and that was Gene Newberry's 10th grade year in high school.

I remember him.

And so I taught, so I taught four years in Arkansas, four years in

in Texas at high school, did some coachings.

And then I was teaching part-time

at Stangersono College, and in 1989, I got hired full-time there and never looked back.

So 35 years at that college.
