Some unfortunate news we found out yesterday about Jets cornerback Chris Boyd, who's been on IR the whole year.

He did spend the first four or five years of his career with the Minnesota Vikings,

got into a bunch of games, and it was special teams as well,

that he was shot and in critical condition.

And I believe it's now critical and stable condition.

And the New York Post has some quotes from one of his good friends saying that he's doing really well right now.

So that is a good thing.

He was at the restaurant on 38th and 7th.

It's a very popular hotspot for celebrities called Say Less. Apparently he left, according to

sources of the New York Post because the vibe was off because there were people that were

arguing in the restaurant.

So when he gets outside, you know, someone from, I think, I'm not positive,

it was from a car, not shoots into a crowd of people outside.

He gets shot, injured, has to go to the hospital immediately and in critical condition.

He was also with two other jet players who have been unnamed at this point.

It's still unclear if Chris Boyd was the target of the shooting or he was just wrong place, wrong time.

But obviously something that could have gone way worse than it did.
