We're going to spend a lot of time on this this week. Now obviously the first game in

the New York games are the Giants and the 49ers on Thursday night football. I think most

of us just assume the Giants are going to lose this game, even if Sequant Barkley is

able to play because the 49ers are really really good and they've been home and the Giants

I don't think are going to be put out because they didn't leave Arizona. So I mean obviously

it's not the same thing as saying at home, but I don't think that that's going to be the

thing that tells them. I think the thing that gets them is that the 49ers are better.

They're just a better team right now and some of the holes in the Giants, I think they've

been exposing these two games and now more teams are going to expose them. I think the Giants

can have a decent year, like they had last year if they win the games they're supposed

to win and maybe surprise us with one or two wins against teams, they shouldn't win.

But right now they are where they should be at one-on-one.

But I do think that on the opposite end of the spectrum from last week when I said

that style points mattered in a win, I think style points matter in a loss. All right,

I don't think they're going to win the game. It's a really tough spot. 49ers are one of

the best teams in football, short week for the Giants on the road. They're a ten-point

dog. But that doesn't mean you lose 40 to nothing. Embarrass yourself. Can you hang in

the game? Can you feed off of what happened in the second half? Have a few touchdowns. Maybe

you lose the game with 30 to 20. 30 to 21. Hang in the game. Have it be competitive
