Happy Dryden. Happy first day of May. Mike Lefco and Charlie Furbush here with you. G. Scott's joining us at 8.30. He's already very excited. We ran into him out there. We were all getting coffee and G.U. was there. He got way too excited about, I don't know what we're going to talk about, but I have a bad feeling, Mora, because, you know, what he likes to talk about. So he's going to be here at 8.30. Gary Hill will join us at 9.30. We're talking a lot of baseball, obviously. We have Charlie Furbush in here, because you know a lot about baseball and about the Mariners, having pitched there throughout your pro career. So when you look at another young lefty coming up here, a guy who, by the way, I'll always remember this because Charlie, we were doing a show the day after the MLB draft when the Mariners picked Kate Anderson.

And you said way back last summer that you thought he can make an impact

this upcoming MLB season. And that was last summer, July of 2025 or June of 2025, no, July,

2025 when the draft is. And you were like, oh, he's going to pitch for them next year. It's like,

what? Like that fast? Okay. I know he's ready. ready he's gone through college he's got an experienced

arm but next summer and now all of a sudden it looks like yeah this is going to happen i mean you

have been on this from the start about kate anderson yeah i and rightfully so man this guy's

incredible and i have heard about him for a long time and getting to see him pitched for LSU in the

College World Series and everything he did there.

And the fact that the Mariners were able to sneak in that draft position and take him,

I think it's just a perfect situation for Cade to fall to the Mariners and really excel in his career

as a pitcher. The Mariners have done such a good job with pitchers and getting pitchers and finding

pitchers and putting them on the right plan to be successful. So I saw it from a long time ago,
