A lot in the

world is different today than it was

four or five days ago, Brock. There's no doubt. But in four

games, the biggest thing to me anyway was the

difference in Julio Rodriguez. He had seven hits in this series, a walk, two doubles,

and a home run. When Julio is that version of himself, he is as good as anyone in baseball, and the

Mariners usually are as good as anyone in baseball because they can just ride his unbelievable,

just talent and multitude of talents because

there's so many different things he can do.

He didn't really use his speed all that much in this series, although we know he can.

He did make a couple of nice plays in the outfield, and obviously that's a huge part of what

he does.

But just the overall ability to affect the game,

it's why he's still my most intriguing Mariner.

It's why I think he's still the most important Mariner
