So I was contacted in April by Speaker McCarthy's office, letting me know that I would be one of three reporters given access to the tons of thousands of hours of surveillance, video

captured by security cameras inside and outside the Capitol on the fifth,

six, and I believe on the seventh. So I was very pleased to hear that. As you can imagine,

I've been banging the drum on this for two years. My first article about the existence of these

tapes was May of 2021. So I'm very grateful for Speaker McCarthy

and especially Marjorie Taylor Green,

who's really been pushing this behind the scenes.

So I did go to DC.

They're archived on a few terminals in a house office building

where you can access them.

It's a very, to me, it's a complicated system.

I'm not a techie, but it's an overwhelming trove of material.

And so it will be a long process to get these clips out,
