We're rolling through the Thursday edition of the program.

I want to get to a couple of stories here.

I tease CNN, maybe getting caught in a fake news report surrounding Aaron Rogers that they

sourced based on a Kentucky Derby party over a decade ago.

That's legitimate, a private conversation at a Kentucky Derby Party.

I got to say, I don't know about you, Buck, the idea that I could be talking to a

reporter at a private party about any subject under the sun, and then that reporter would

treat it as a serious conversation over a decade later and report what I said in that conversation feels to me like a flaw of journalism in general.

You and I talk, as many people do, but we know a lot of media people.

I don't feel like I need to say, hey, this is off the record, and you can't say something

that I said over a decade ago.

Now, the reality is you and I don't sound much different off the air than we would on the

air.

So somebody saying, oh, you'll never believe what Clay Travis said, or you never believe

what Buck's X and say, well, I listen to them what Clay Travis said or you never believe what Buck

Texas and say, well, I listen to them for three hours every day.

It's pretty similar to what they would say live on the radio.

But I find this very strange that you can have a conversation with somebody over a decade ago
