We are here at the Hilton where everything is happening,

and we're still not sure what exactly is going on but

we have a man with us right now that can hopefully give us some context Jerry Moorhead is the

president of the University of Georgia one of the most influential people in intercollegiate

athletics he has headed so many important committees and has spent so much time in

D.C. and elsewhere trying to make sense out of this world. And I know some of your comments,

not so much even recently, but over the last year, have gotten a lot of attention about where

you think we are and where we need to go? Well, unfortunately, we haven't gone anywhere.

We're stuck.

We're having basically the same conversations we were having a year ago,

and that's very frustrating.

I hope out of this meeting we don't end saying,

well, we're going to wait before we start actually planning the next steps because

we've waited on Congress. We'll probably get a bill from Cruz in Cantwell. Some say it may come

as early as this week. But even if we get that bill introduced, it's got to get through the Senate and it's got to get through the House.
