The general response to the Mariners trade deadline, I think this has been the most common, is unbelievable, love what they did, wish they'd been able to get another arm, right?

That's sort of been the prevailing opinion, and I think we've all said it at some point, here was Scott Braun yesterday.

I think it's more of a balanced approach.

I still love the stuff of the starting staff, so I'm good there.

If I had to be really nitpicky, I think the bullpen is excellent, but when I match it up

against a few of the other teams that beefed up their bullpens at the trade deadline.

I think it's, it's good.

Is it top three?

Not for me.

Is it top five to seven?

Sure.

Like that, that's the way postseason baseball has gone where more and more relief pitching has become imperative there.

And half the innings in the postseason are now going to relief pitchers.
