How, like, they made a pick at 32.

We started the show by talking about, you know, we both liked the pick. We thought they answered a question at 1045. We talked about how we thought they got a little closer to a Super Bowl, which was the goal that we talked about going into the draft. I haven't even gotten to everything Jadarian had to say. There was a conference call that he had with reporters. There's stuff set about him. Marcus Freeman, excuse me, was on Good Morning Football.

Mike Mayock was talking about Jadarian Price. We also had Jadarian with Brock and Salk earlier this

morning, a great interview. So much to get to. So let's learn more about Jadarian Price.

All of us collectively right now. We're going to start with Jadarian talking with reporters. A big thing that I think a lot of people liked about him, including Brock, who asked him about it during a separate interview, was his decision to stay at Notre Dame. No, I made it. It was in my heart to stay at Notre Dame. It's a place I love and, you know, build a relationship those guys in the locker room.

And what we had done the year before before was in the National Championship,

that's what I wanted to do.

And that's why I wanted to stay there. And but also, also made a challenge to myself as well, you know, split rest with the best player in college football. And I did that and I showed what I can do at the highest level. and it's, you know, sitting here now,

and it was the greatest season I could have made.

Why do you think it might matter to the Seahawks,

if at all, but why do you think it might matter to the Seahawks, that Judarian, with a chance to make more elsewhere, chose to stay at his school, still behind the best player in the country, which meant you weren't going to beat him out. Right. I think it means a lot because he's playing, I think, more for the love of the game,

rather than chasing the bag wherever it may end up.

You know, he's not one of those guys for schools in four years or anything like that.

And it's interesting in this NIL era, you see more and more guys get drafted, especially in the first round,

guys who have spent time at multiple schools. But nearly every, well, every draft pick

that Mike McDonald has made with the Seahawks, their first round pick has been a guy that

has not transferred. Byron Murphy spent all of his college career at Texas.
