Gino Smith had a lot to say about Seattle in his time here with the Seahawks.

And the interview he did for ESPN, a story by Ryan McFadden, who I assume is their Vegas Raiders reporter similar to Brady and what Brady does here. I'm not positive about that, but there's, it is. Good. Okay. So there's a lot of quotes here from Gino Smith. And, you know, obviously you can take these. I'll read them so that you know what Gino had to say. And then we can discuss it, Brock. You saw what he did last night and the egg that he laid, but coming off a pretty good

performance in game one and probably feeling pretty good about himself, here's what Gino said.

Vegas is perfect for me.

Me being a Miami kid and how I was raised in act, I really didn't fit the culture in Seattle.

I really didn't fit the culture in Seattle. Then he says, I finally got my team. I always felt like I was

trying to replace Russell Wilson in Seattle. And you can never replace all the great things he did.

So I never felt like Seattle was my team.

Also, I didn't feel like I fit the aesthetic of the Seattle organization.

The Raiders just fit me.

Smith says he never thought Carol would leave the Seahawks and the decision to replace Carol with Mike McDonald made him question his future with the club. Shoot, if they let him go, they let Russell go. The writing is on the wall, you know?

Eventually, they're going to try to find someone younger, which every team does.

I wasn't mad at that, but it was more so how they were going about it, like the honesty of it all.

I felt like they were trying not to tell me what direction they were going.
