Welcome to today's edition of the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton show podcast.

Third hour of Clay and Buck and last hour before we get to send you off into your long weekend,

your Labor Day weekend. Hope you got some fun plans. We have very exciting plans. Play

and be writing a book. You just got to go around on your book tour. I'm writing a book, so

that's what you're doing all Labor Day weekend. Yes. Yes, pretty much. You don't have a single

fun thing planned for the entire long weekend. Reading the books for research to write the book

is somewhat enjoyable. Does Jerry have anything fun planned? Oh, she's going to, yeah, she's

going to go out of the girls. She played golf last night. She's got a great time. I'm going to go

into full habit in his little den mode and be writing until my little fingers get numb and

that is the plan. But it's coming along. It's coming along. And yeah, I hope people have more

fun things planned than that. I'm sure I'll eat some good food at some point. Do some other

do some other good things. I can't believe the summer is at a close now. You would think that,

I don't know, it went by very, very quickly. So I'm happy that people have a day off to contemplate.

It's interesting. We could think of the history of Labor Day another time perhaps. In the mean

time, Mr. Clay, actually, why don't you tell everybody we got going on. It's third hour before

holiday weekend. We're not there's not any big break. All the journals everybody. They've

they're already on the way to the vineyard or whatever. Yeah, they're they're heading to the

Jersey Shore right now. They don't care. It's a good time to break news if you have any negative

news out there that you just want to dump in this tons of college football games going on. Everybody's

bailing. I've been on the road for the last month. So with the book and everything else. And so

I'm just excited to be home. I'm going to go to the Virginia Tennessee game in Nashville tomorrow.

I'm going to go to a high school football game tonight. Basically the next decade of my life.
