I was the only one around here who really had a connection to the Wootang Clan.

And I was surprised about that.

I thought maybe somebody would at least have a recollection.

A couple people remembered Method Man, but Al and young Rami and Jerry and Boomer,

really no connection to Wu-Tang Clan.

Now, why am I talking about Wu-Tang Clan?

If you missed it earlier, we gave away Wu-Tang Clan tickets in the 7 o'clock hour.

Now, WFAN has a lot of great listeners from all backgrounds.

I also believe that there's a lot of older baseball fans that listen to WFAN.

And some of these older baseball fans will hear a contest going on and they'll just call the

contest line to try to win

the tickets and you might get somebody who has no idea who Wu-Tang Clan is would never go to

a Wu-Tang Clan concert that wins these tickets. I think that was probably a possibility.

So Al, who won the Wu-Tang Clan tickets? Oh, okay. It was a, he did sound younger.

Oh. And he was very excited. Oh, okay. Good. And could not believe his good fortune.

Great. Yeah, so it was somebody who does know Wu-Tang Clan. All right. Awesome. So good.

Yes. I was happy about that. I mean, you got to remember, for me, like, I was the 80s when I was in college and I was a rookie in the NFL.

Yeah, I understand.

You know, that was back when the Sugar Hill Gang, Grand Master Flash, Curtis Blow, all those guys, you know, were the ones that were like the precursor to all of this other stuff. And, you know, that was my, like, hip-hop genre, if you will. I totally understand. And I was playing all that music for you from my iTunes library. See, but I know that stuff. Yes. So I know that stuff prior to my time. And in the 90s, you know, you have kids, you're distracted, you're getting traded.

I don't like, you know, I had a million things called. Yeah, I mean, I think that was unique to you and few other people getting traded. I know, but, you know, you kind of like, I don't know, I guess I kind of lost track of some things. Yeah, that's fine. I mean, I don't know. you don't have to defend yourself into not knowing the Wu-Tang Clan.
