Get to the freaking auto!

That really worked that way, Sherman. This is a show that has my name on it. It's kind of tough. Now here are your hosts, Brock Ewerd and Mike Salk. Hello! Hello! We're throwing caution of the win. This is not a conversation you're normally supposed to have on the radio. Salc. I'm going to do it. Three things we don't talk about on the radio. Religion, sex and politics. So which one are we doing? Oh, I'll let you be the judge. I won't tell you which camp this falls into. You'll just have to figure it out for yourself. It started with a question about chemistry. So I guess you'd probably assume it's about sex, relationships. But I don't think that's the direction this is going to go. We asked Mike McDonald, which comes first, right? The chicken or the egg. Is it the chemistry that comes first and leads to the winning? Or does the winning beget the chemistry? And he was pretty sure he knew the answer. I think it's pretty clear. I think you have to have those habits and those connections in order to win. You know, it's just a matter of it's a function of time before that's going to show up. I don't know if I don't know if I would agree with an argument if it's the opposite. You know, like there's a phrase out there like you have to kind of become a champion before you're champion. Something along those lines and that really resonates with me. And our guys have done that. And it's hard to have that faith, you know, like, it's, um, you have to have

faith in that process. Like, you have to go through those things and do all those daily habits,

daily actions. You really build that foundation, not having a W in the wind column, you know,

and just having faith that it's going to come to life with, with the results, you know,

and, uh, and our guys did it.

I mean so many books written sulk about so many different leaders again football business

what have you about discipline and habits and those things that are so critically important

but I think what Mike is saying right there is, hey, I'm a first-time

guy. I'm pretty young. I'm in my 30s, like some of my guys on the team are in my 30s, and they're looking to me the first time, you know, doing this. And we're going to have faith in you. Well, then I better have a whole bunch of discipline. I better have a whole bunch of habits. I better have a whole bunch of, you know, a genuine nature, you know, to this thing. And in his case, be true to his character of vulnerability and humility. Yeah. Knowing what I don't know. I think it does speak. I want you to jump in and jump aboard. Quite a bit to him and how he operates and even his answer later about Black Friday or Black Monday rather Black Friday,

I guess it would be probably more relevant to this conversation, but to Black Monday and coaches

being fired and the people under them.

And it's not that different from what Pete would say, because we've talked to Pete about

that any number of times, but just feeling the weight of responsibility that you asked

all these people to have faith in you and your idea and

your scheme and your program and if you let them down and you end up getting canned,

they're going to get canned with you, whether it was their fault or not.

So yeah, the one word that sticks out there.

We know what it is.

It's faith.

We're not going to rank faith, Mora.
