CBS Sports Draft analyst Mike Renter, joining us now in the Emerald Clean Casino Sportsbook Hotline. Mike, how's it going? Going great. Thanks for having me on. We're happy to have you. We're live from Seahawks Riki Camp, so very fitting that we get to talk to you about this class. I'll start with just kind of your general overview. I know that it's hard to grade a team who makes their first pick at 32 and didn't have a ton in the top 100.

That being said, how did you feel on the whole about Seattle's approach to the 2026 draft?

It felt like they were truly plugging the holes they missed in for agency.

And I don't always advocate

for a strategy like that, but not only because of this draft being so weak, but also because

Seahawks just being so good, right? The fact that they had quite obvious needs heading into this

that needed to be filled. And I thought with, you know, given the hand they were dealt,

they got great players to fill those roles.

So that's what it felt like to me.

It's just a team that knows it's the best team in the NFL and just trying to stay the best team in the NFL for as long as they can.

And I think they did just that with this draft.

I was surprised that both Stevens was available in the fifth round.

Why do you think he was sitting there?

I had him actually in that about range.

I think his play strength issues were why I thought he fell at that point in the draft.

But obviously, we saw a big, you know,

a lot of teams covered Iowa offensive linemen in this NFL draft because they come in so NFL

ready. And I think that's why they were willing to move, you know, future fourth rounder to get
