We've been talking a lot about what becomes a jet season now that Aaron Rogers is down.

And one thing that I like to clear up, I think Aaron Rogers is definitely coming back.

Now, it doesn't seem like money motivates this guy, but the jets are not spending a lot

of money on Aaron Rogers this year. In fact, it's a minus fuel amount.

The big money kicks in next year and the year after that. The guy's already given up $35

million. So I saw with Mariana Rivera when he went down, fielding, you know, fly balls

during batting practice. I knew that he would never end his career on a card. So he was

going to retire that year. And he came back. Well, Aaron Rogers is never going to retire

at the end of this year, less than one of the super balls. So the likelihood of that was

not great. Even if they made the playoffs, they made a run. I still think he was going

to play next year. And the money has to play somewhat of an angle in that. And I think

he's going to come back. And you know, if in the unlikely event, at least in the way

I see it, that Zach Wilson really does improve and has an unbelievable year, then the jets

have a little bit of a decision to make. They probably do pick up his fifth year option

then. And even if Rogers comes back next year, at least you know that you've got Zach

Wilson there for that fifth year. But I think Rogers is coming back. And I feel for Rogers,

I really do because I think he was all in. But most of all, I feel for jet fans. It brings

me no joy to say, I don't think they're making the playoffs with Zach Wilson. I don't think

he's a good quarterback. I don't think he's good enough even with the great parts surrounding
