The Mets are about to begin game 4.

Now I don't believe in the old adage playing with houses money because not much was expected because once you get this far then you start to recalibrate and you'd be you'd be devastated if in fact you did not advance to the NLCS if you're the Mets.

But I would say that the pressure on the team

and on the organization is nothing like the pressure on the Yankees as they go into a pivotal game three in Kansas City.

Now, hear me out. I've heard people say, well, Kansas City is a tough matchup for the Yankees.

Well, they've got pitchers that have good numbers

against Yankee hitters. Stop. The Yankees have to beat the Royals. The Yankee payroll

is three times what the Royals payroll is. You do not lose to the Royals in the

ALDS. You do not. You do not. And if you do, then there are going to be ramifications, I believe, and I believe Don, unfortunately,

the ramification is going to be that the manager will be thrown overboard as chums to the masses.

No question.
