I'd like to ask you, what do you remember being the deciding key factors of South Carolina

and Arkansas coming to the SEC?

Yeah, most certainly can tell you that.

The SEC in the late 80s, early 90s looked at a couple of schools.

They talked to Texas, interestingly, and there was an issue with Texas because Texas and

A&M were locked together at that time and they needed some balance. They needed a school in the east and a school in the west so they ended up settling on Arkansas

and on the other side they wanted Florida State at that point in time but
