Two more losses for the Jets and Giants.

The Giants are officially eliminated from postseason contention, first team to do so.

And one of the first teams in the earliest we have seen in many, many years.

I think it was all the way back to 2020 when the Jets were eliminated this early.

The Giants haven't had their buy yet. So that extra loss is the reason why they are done.

But a lot of other really good storylines in the NFL and WFA and NFL football is powered by Verizon and the big

game yesterday between the Colts and the Chiefs. I mean, I was really, I'd watch it 20 to 9,

and I know Daniel Jones wasn't playing great, but at 20 to 9, I'm sitting there watching this

game completely impressed with the Indianapolis Colts and chain stiking and everything out. I'm like, you're going to go in there and you're not not only are you going to beat this team. You're going to beat them by two scores. And then, you know, champions are champions. And in that building, they were not going to let it happen. Now, the spread was three and a half, so that was one of the things that I lost.

My logic was there, like the Chiefs aren't going to lose this game, but they obviously didn't cover that half a point.

But, you know, this is another one of those instances where it's like, okay, Daniel Jones, amazing season.

He's great.

He's been great for them. But will he in this situation on the road in a playoff game give you that

performance that he gave you up in Minnesota a few years ago, or is he going to run into a

good defense and just be pedestrian?

Yeah, I thought he played okay.

You know, I didn't think he was the reason why they lost.

I mean, when you think about it, the Chief chiefs out gained the colts 236 yards to 18 in the fourth quarter and overtime well i

mean they ran 91 plays to the colts 50 in the game so the defense could not get off the field

yeah and they still only held them the 23 points they held held them the 23 points. They just gave up a lot of yards. And then Harrison Butker, that guy's money. Yeah. That guy has been money for years out there in Kansas City. Interestingly enough, on the kickoff show, I did take the Colts, but I said the chiefs are going to win by a late Harrison ButlerButker Field Col. Bang, nailed it. Bang, baby. Three and a half points, I'll take it. But, yeah, look, Patrick 7 and 0 in the overtime periods. He's money when the game is on the line. This is his biggest comeback, by the way. Yeah. And once again, I mean, like the Ravens, were they all that impressive yesterday? were the Chiefs all that impressive yesterday? Not really. I mean, I think the Rams were the most impressive team yesterday. I think in the NFL, they're the only impressive team. I'm like really impressive team. I mean, the Patriots weren't overly, because they had, the Patriots had like five or six injuries in the middle of this game in New England, I mean, in Cincinnati. But, you know, they held on for the win. And, you know, I was telling the guys at EEI, even when you don't play your best game and you still win, no matter who you're playing in the NFL, that, you know, that's a sign of a good team.
