use my voice instead. Maybe. Right. But I digress. No, what was your reaction to the signing?

I know we all kind of expected it, but what kind of impact is this really? Is it like at the Marcus Lawrence? Yeah, it just kind of feels. I think the word that hit me early on, it's probably staying by it here a few hours later, is just fit. It's just kind of the right hand and glove fit in many different ways. I think his fit with this rotation and this group,

his fit with the defense coordinator Dirty,

who he spent years with in Atlanta and Dallas,

his fit in knowing as a veteran guy,

like they take care of you the right way,

they'll put me in the right place.

Mike McDonald's been so good with his edge players,

and he didn't have to look any further than

a duty knows really well and demarcus lawrence tank that was a teammate of his in dallas so i

i don't know other than if there's another shoe to drop that demarcus lawrence is is retiring or

something like if there's another shoe to eventually drop i don't know how anybody could look at this

and go oh yeah that's that's not a good deal that doesn't any sense. I think it checks boxes just about everywhere. Brock, I told our listeners that Fowler is a responsible football player. I mean, he's not the 22-year-old from years back, but he's going to be where he's supposed to be. He's going to hold the edge when he needs to hold it. And he might sneak in a few sacks here and some pressures. What did you see when you watched film? Yeah, I think that's all, it's all fair. You get to this point. You play 11 years. He's made, I was looking at his numbers before popping on with you guys, almost 80 million bucks. So he's made some pretty significant money.

I also kind of like that the last three years, they've been contracts very similar to this.
