| 0:00.0 | I'll play in buck kicks off right now my friends. Thanks for rolling with us on this Thursday. And I'm going to be with you all tomorrow. And then I'm going to be gone at Scotland. So uncle play. |
| 0:14.5 | What time what time you had to Scotland. By the way, what time does the vacation officially begin all over the weekend? I leave all Saturday. So okay. I'm heading out there. |
| 0:23.5 | Not a lot of Miami to Scotland travel. So have to have to figure out a way to get their, you know, intermediary stopper midway. |
| 0:32.5 | Anyway, I'm looking forward to it. Never been before. It's been very little time in the UK. Let's dive into the Biden situation here for a moment. |
| 0:42.5 | I think it's incumbent upon us all to understand what they're going to do to try to eke out enough votes. I mean, I will say this I have. |
| 0:54.5 | I would play say large bet if it were possible to do such a thing and maybe overseas it is. Maybe I'll do it all in Scotland. |
| 1:01.5 | I'll play a large bet that this next election is going to mirror the primary electoral patterns of 2020 in many ways, meaning these states are going to be very similar that are in play. |
| 1:18.5 | And the contest is going to come down to the razor's edge in terms of the margin. So we have to look at it through that perspective. |
| 1:26.5 | I do not believe and I don't think anybody who is basing it on the data thinks that there will be a landslide, right? |
| 1:33.5 | I wish Clay and I could sit here and I'm Clay can correct me if I'm wrong on this. I wish we could sit here and say the Biden reckoning is coming in terms of a like big Reagan-esque butt kicking in the electoral college. |
| 1:50.5 | I don't think that's realistic. I think Trump can win and that's what we need to focus on. I think that Trump can get it done. I don't think he's going to flip Oregon red or something. I don't see that happening. |
| 2:03.5 | So let's look then at what on the one hand what they're doing is going to be some version of just anti-Trumpism to the max. They're going to say that it's they're going to run January six stuff. There's going to be a lot of that going on. |
| 2:22.5 | We also have to look at some of the fundamentals here on the economy and this is pretty amazing. Joe Biden is out there claiming that he has cut the federal debt and I suppose he means deficit but did he say debt or deficit here but anyway that he has cut spending by $1.7 trillion. |
| 2:41.5 | We actually cut the federal debt by $1.7 trillion. The first two years we cut the debt by $1.7 trillion. |
| 2:59.5 | This is very Obama because if you remember Obama came into office and when he was running for reelection in 2011 and 2012 the day it was the slowest economic recovery since World War II. The economy was not anywhere near where it should have been but all of the propaganda was we were losing. |
| 3:23.5 | I forget what the number was but a huge number of jobs when I came in and now look what's going well. Yeah there was a cyclical you know once every 20 years or maybe say every decade recession going on but comparing the jobs numbers to the worst month the deepest losses of the recession. |
| 3:42.5 | I mean it was just it was a trick it was meant to fool people Joe Biden is basically saying because I'm not doing the emergency spending of COVID I hear he did it again he did it again this here is plate plate clip seven. |
| 4:00.5 | And unlike the last president my first two years in office even with all we've done on the first one to cut the federal debt by $1.700 billion. $1.700 billion cut. |
| 4:16.5 | Clay Biden's going to run as I know this he's going to run as a debt hawk. |
| 4:23.5 | Well it's a total why and I always want to hammer home this stat because it makes everybody's you can't even believe it's real we spent more money on COVID adjusted for inflation than we did to beat the Nazis in World War II. |
| 4:44.5 | That that is a for everybody out there listening it makes your head almost explode we shut down we told people you can't go to work and now Biden's trying to take credit for people being able to go back to work because your federal government said you can't work we're going back to a job that the government told you you couldn't work at doesn't count as a new job because you look at it I think they're claiming 13 million plus new jobs and when you actually look at it there's two and a half or three million actual new jobs. |
| 5:12.5 | Of that period which is not that extraordinary by any stretch of the imagination historically the 1.7 trillion in cuts is just the money that was being spent for COVID coming off the books so that's not actually any cuts and remember Biden wanted to spend over five trillion. |
