How weird is it to just sit and wait?

Mariners are in.

Then they clinch the AL West.

And last night they clinch their first round by.

And the number two seed in the postseason,

they could get the number one seed.

It's unlikely, but they could happen depending on what goes down with the Yankees and the Blue Jays.

And there's a reasonable argument to be made that you don't even want the number one seed

because of who you'd have to play in the second round.

But overall, Brock, this is like, this is paradise.

This is as good as it gets right now. Oh, you really? Just going to watch a Dodger series with just ease and comfort. Doesn't care. It doesn't matter. Kind of, yeah. You will. You probably will do a good job of that. I don't think the majority of us will. Oh, really? You want to, yeah, I think you just want to keep the good vibes, the good feelings, play good, clean baseball, right? In some ways, you do almost wish last night wrapped up the season because you and the Dodgers are in the exact same spot. You both won 90 games. Their situation is totally locked in. They're the number three seed in the NL, right? They're not catching the one or two,

the Brewers or the Phillies. They're not being caught. They're going to win their division. They've already won their division. So, yeah, it'll be kind of interesting to see how both play out kind of the string here this weekend. But you go out there and play hard. I mean, like, as I said, I would D.H. Cal all, you know, three games left.

And it was interesting.

Before they clinch that last night, I thought that was an interesting move. Looked at the lineup and was like, geez, Cal is in the lineup as a catcher again. Everybody's in the line up. Same lineup. I know. I know. I don't care what your blood alcohol content is. you're going to get out there and you're going to play. And for a lot of the people I kind of got up, I was like, man, if there any way you could just like CalDH the rest of these games? Because if he takes a ball off his wrist, you know, it just changes everything. Thankfully, it's funny, I texted you guys as soon as the Cleveland game went final, and I was like, hey, I wonder if they'll change the lineup now. And like 20 seconds later, it came out that they had changed the lineup as well. And I like that. And I would let CalDH the remainder of these three games. I think you play hard, but not stupid. And I just don't think there's any reason. Maybe if he

needs to catch one game just to, you know, stay used to it or something, fine. I don't know why

that would be necessary. I would let CalDH these three games, give him every opportunity to try to
