One of the things over the course of doing this for a living is you know sometimes the NBA i've said this

at any given time there's seven or eight you know agents in the NBA maybe less than that

that have huge influence and to curry favor with those agents slash access,

because a lot of times the players don't talk, but the agents will.

And so you want to be in good stead with the agents.

So there's a lot of, and you see this with some NFL breaking news reporting,

you can tell when you look at some of the leading guys,

you're like, oh, that's obviously from an agent.

He's doing

him a favor because nobody really cares about the third string corner it's it's an agent saying

hey i gave you this you got to give me that it's pretty transparent but i but i have think i think

through the years uh gms and coaches sometimes it feels a little bit like pandering to star players.

I get a young guy comes in out of college.

He's 1920.

I mean, he can't drink in the hotel bar.

Like, I get it.
