If they win their games, they make the playoffs.

If they win two out of three and the Reds don't sweep Milwaukee, the Mets make the playoffs.

If the Mets lose two out of three, they're going to need serious help. They would need the Reds to lose two out of three and the Diamondbacks to simply not sweep the San Diego Padres.

I polled the Met fans, will the Mets make the playoffs?

When they had the dramatic victory in game one, I pulled the Mets fans, and 54% said no.
