Scientists have really preyed on beagles because beagles are docile animals.

They do what you tell them to do.

And so it's really kind of sad to see where we've come in science.

Now, the beagles that were housed in kennels at the FDA's own facilities are no longer there.

Those kennels are empty.

And so we are making massive strides to reducing animal testing in different classes of medications

on a roadmap that we have.

I'm also proud of report that you no longer need to submit data using 144 chimpanzees

for a class of drugs called monoclonal antibodies.

That was things like regenerate during the pandemic.

So we're making massive strides.

We believe in this.

This is part of our MAHA agenda.

And I also think it's just common sense and humane.

That is Dr. Marty McAree, and he is FDA Commissioner and he is announcing that the FDA is now abolishing inhumane treatment and testing of beagles, chimpanzees and other animals.

Good. Full stop. Nobody needed the government to be in the business of torturing beagles in the name of

science. This is just common sense. It's long overdue. And every dog owner in America has just

cheered for this. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, this has got RFK Jr. written all over it. I think he was the one

behind the scenes that was pushing for this. Obviously, he oversees, you know, HHS and FDA as part of that.

So I am sure that he was a big proponent of this.

I find it fascinating that it took a Republican Trump administration to enact these changes at the FDA.

It wasn't the Obama administration.
