Debate on the Senate floor in Indianapolis was intense,

and Republican argued that the state must protect its laws and prioritize Hoosier safety.

So there was the bill, Senate Bill 76, and it is the tough immigration enforcement bill. And with the vote of 37 to 11, it is now on its way to Governor Mike Braun to sign. And yeah, the bill gives Indiana the tools that it needs to back up federal border enforcement.

You've got, we're not going to win this alone, right?

The federal government needs the state's cooperation.

And now in Indiana, looks like they're going to have it. Yeah, well, we certainly know what happens when the states don't cooperate with the federal government when it comes to

immigration. And we get situations like we had in Minneapolis a month or so ago and leads to

serious problems out there. And look, we give Mike Brown a hard time. We give those lawmakers a hard time

here in Indiana and deservedly so, but this is a big win for them. And what I love about this

too is that there's a mechanism for enforcement.

Because a lot of times that we see things where they'll pass a bill, you're going to do this

or else.

And what's the or else?

Right.

Well, the other, the people that don't want to follow the law go, okay, fine.

What are you going to do about it?
