Mr. New York, Mark Simone on W.O.R.

Well, we got lots to get to. It's the day after Labor Day. We'll see what happens. Supposedly,

this is when everybody comes back to New York City, although not always right away.

You know, some people take a few more days off, but it's after Labor Day when everybody returns from the Hamptons and all those

kind of places. But a lot of people say they're not coming back. They're staying out there. They're

even registering their kids in the school in the Hamptons, which is frightening the regular residents

of the Hamptons. They don't want their kids corrupted by these New York City kids.

Same thing in Westchester, Connecticut. They're a little nervous about all these New York City people.

Joe Bartlett down there in South Carolina, they must be the same way, too. They don't want all those

New Yorkers down. No, they hate New Yorkers down there. No. They like their money. They just don't like them yeah well can you blame them

uh... i don't know happens they call them the they call them the city it's which means

idiots in the city so so they're a little frightened out there though that none of these

people will leave they'll stay all winter but uh the problem is New York City is a disaster. The president

tweeted out today that the awful mayor, the totally awful, incompetent, crazed mayor,

de Blasio, and the all screwed up right now, Governor Cuomo, have destroyed New York City. If you listen to the governor

explains. New York State was the place where COVID ambushed this nation. And New York State

will go down in the history books as the place that beat back COVID.

What do we think? Does he believe this? Or does he just being a politician thinking, I'll just say stuff and maybe it'll stick?
