How about a positive update from the New York Jets themselves?

Moments ago, the Jets released information about Justin Fields.

They tweeted the following.

Update. After medical evaluation, Justin Fields sustained a dislocated toe in his right foot and will be day to day.

Fields avoided serious injury and significant mis-times.

That's from the Jets themselves. That's not from anyone reporting on this.

Justin Fields is going to be listed as day-to-day, which I figured this would be something

that would be week-to-week. Like he has to probably miss a week or so, a practice, maybe more.

Day-to-day is not bad. Day-to-day is great. Now, I could give you the old Vin's Scully line. Day to day, aren't we all? But I'll take this with Justin Fields. So that is a positive here. Jake Aspen, in for Michael K, 800, 911, 919, 3776. It was scary this morning. Justin Fields. It was reported as a non-contact injury he went

down with. He needed to be carted off. Then you hear from Aaron Glenn afterwards, and this was

Glenn's update at the time on Fields. He forgot which quarterback he was even updating.
