Early returns on the Seahawks draft are in.

You're not going to love this grade from the athletic.

It's not the athletic, like, surveying multiple reporters.

It's Austin Mock.

He listed his draft winners and losers column.

Coming in with the best grades in his column,

the Browns got an A-plus, the Giants, the Jets.

You can see some common themes here in terms of teams that were able to get either a lot of first-round picks,

several picks in the top 100, and also teams that took players who are potentially going to give a lot for the value of that veteran contract.

Meaning, for instance, that if they took, the Giants took Arvel Reese,

that Arvel Reese plays an incredibly expensive position, and that he could give you a ton of value

for what you are actually paying him on this rookie deal.

So that's part of how Austin went through and graded these picks.

So maybe it shouldn't be a huge shock that two of the three teams to get F grades were the

two teams to take running backs in the first round.

Now one of those teams, the Cardinals, took Jeremiah Lovett three overall.

I get someone, despite Love's generational talent, saying that's just too high for a running

back.
