Our two-hour radio program passes two hours in sports talk.

A couple of loose ends that tie together.

First of all, really shocked to hear the passing of the Mets team physician, Dr. David Alcheck,

who was one of the most respected physicians in all of Major League Baseball.

He performed so many Tommy John surgeries.

And I actually went to him once on my shoulder was bothering me about something

and the door opened and he walked in and I don't know if he was backlit in the right way

and it almost seemed like you know this ethereal being was walking in the room he was an extraordinarily

good looking man great doctor and it almost like the angel sang when he

walked into the room.

And to lose somebody of that import in the medical community, I guess he had brain cancer

is what I read at the young age of 68, just awful.
