So the winter meeting is taking place in Orlando.

Started last night, John Heyman of the New York Post reporting that Pete Alonzo, who lives in Tampa, is going

to make the drive to Orlando.

It's about an hour, hour and 15 minutes from Tampa.

And he's going to meet with the Red Sox and I believe the Orioles.

And there's a part of me, I feel a little bad for Pete Alonzo.

He's a really good player.

He's a terrific home run hitter.

He's been a really outstanding met.

And it seems like he's got to sing for a supper all the time.

Remember, the deal last year didn't get done until he met with Steve Cohen down in Florida.
