Welcome to today's edition of the Clay Travis and Bucksexton Show podcast.

Second hour of Clay Unbuck begins right now everybody. We talked to you yesterday about the

riots that occurred in really one big riot that occurred right in Millennium Park in Chicago

over the weekend. The new mayor, Brandon Johnson, taking the approach that you shouldn't demonize

these kids. People were shot and killed. There were police cars destroyed. You know,

police things set on fire. But you know, don't demonize these kids. They don't have the opportunities

in their communities or something like that. That was what the mayor said. You also had

a shooting in Alabama that happened over the weekend where I mean, there's a horrible incident

at a sweet 16 party. There were 15 teenagers shot for killed at this sweet 16 party. Think about

what the impact on those families. These young people losing their lives from this horrific

act of violence. In that incident, all of the victims, CNN has shown the four victims killed.

So people, it's been established who was killed. And tragically in this incident, they were all

black. I believe they haven't found the shooter yet, but there are some leads. And we shall see

how that ends up. But a horrific mass shooting over the weekend. And we'll see who the assailant is

soon. I would be willing to assume. I think that's like that happened. Okay. What is the primary

crime story that the New York Times plates on me this because he gets the hard copy of the New

York Times, the old school paper on the front page of the New York Times today, which one has become

a cause for celebrities, including Jennifer Aniston and others. Well, let's talk about this for a

second. A young African American male Ralph Yarl was critically injured. He's 16 years old.

This was in Kansas City, Missouri. This occurred just over the weekend as well. An 84 year old man

shot Yarl twice once at hit him in the head once hit him in the arm. And

there's an enormous outcry over this. And the 84 year old has been arrested. He's been charged with
