Summary
Mike Macdonald had far more confidence in his team than anyone else entering the 2025 NFL season, and now that confidence is paying off and reigning true, so Brock and Salk talk through it. They then dissect Game 7 of the World Series in which was one of the best baseball games we've ever watched, with the Seahawks emerging victorious to win back-to-back World Series. In Blue 88, topics include what people reached out to Brock about regarding the Seahawks, a major pivot the Seahawks made that hasn't gotten as much buzz and why are the Huskies finally ranked.

| 0:37.5 | Like, it seems like kind of hopeful and kind of feel okay about it. Stings to lose, but it's week one. He was like, you know, almost like he couldn't even talk to him. He was so mad that they had lost that game. And remember we asked him a few weeks later like, hey, it's because you really believe in this team, isn't it?? He's like, yeah, it's almost a compliment that he was as mad. And in that way, I found myself thinking last night about Julio in spring training. When we talked to him and everyone was a little down on what the Mariners were going to be this year, we didn't love the moves in the offseason. Julio's looking at us like, are you crazy? I love this team. We're so talented. We're going to be great. I love what we've got here. And he was right. And obviously the team comes a whisper away from going to its first world series. And at least as of right now, eight games into it at six and two, Mike McDonald looks right too. I mean, that team, that was a dominant dominant victory yesterday just phenomenal yeah |
