Hour two, and I have something I'm legitimately fascinated by.

And I want to just put this out there, and I really hope you have a response.

Because I thought what happened with Jose Ramirez and the Cleveland Guardians was fascinating.

And I think it absolutely relates to what is or isn't happening here between the Tigers and

Terrick Scouble.

Let me explain.

It was stunning in a society where you don't see that usually anymore.

Well, I think what it reaffirms is this.

We can start on the player side of it before we get to the Tigers.

It shows that if a player wants to be somewhere, the tail doesn't wag the dog.

The agent works for the player.

Jose Ramirez signed a seven-year, $175 million contract.

That is well below market value. J-R Ram is exceptional. Might even be a better guy, beloved, loved by the fans, loved by the town, his teammates. He's a Hall of Famer. And he wanted to stay in Cleveland. He has been very forward about, look, my wife likes it here.

I like living here.

And this team was loyal to me from the beginning.

I want to stay here.

Now, not every player has to follow that.

But my point is, this idea that Tarek Scouble gets to skirt criticism, it's false, that he gets to sitel gets to skirt criticism.

It's false.

That he gets to sit up there with a wry smile and wear a redwings jersey.
