Hey guys it has been a pretty amazing week in sports and the Mets the other day it would have been

ashamed if the season had ended there and what they did was produce what I think is the greatest regular season

victory they've ever had and I think people are finally starting to process

something we've been talking about here for a few weeks.

They have been not one of the best teams in baseball since June 1st.

They have been the best team in baseball since June 1st and they came off of that emotional

high and went right to Milwaukee and put one on the Brewers and it's it's it's been it's been terrific to see and I'll tell you this and then you

guys can talk about whatever you want to talk about what I'm talking about with me today.

That was a defining decision by Carlos Mendoza to bring Diaz back into that game.

And I had joked on Twitter that I was thinking about bringing Jesse Roscoe in because he was the only guy I trusted at that point to get the last three

out and then it became kind of symbolic and instead of throwing his glove up into the air he spiked

it after he got the last doubt and you know I wrote this this

would have been a greaty little moment if they had lost that game but they didn't

and that's what I love about this because the analytics have taken a lot of responsibility

away from managers.

So he deserves a lot of credit for keeping this team off the mat when they were 11 games
