The speaker vote is ongoing.

There is uncertainty as to whether Mike Johnson will get the requisite number of votes in the first go-around.

We know that Representative Thomas Massey of Kentucky is voting against him. He can

lose one other vote and still be elected speaker on the first go-around. Hakeem Jeffery is

obviously standing on the Democrat side. He is their leader. We'll be the minority leader in

the House and our team is monitoring that vote.

We will give you an update on what exactly ends up happening there.

Some of you out there are saying, oh, I don't know why you're getting, Trump wants Mike Johnson

to be speaker.

And some of you are like, well, he's not, if Trump wants Mike Johnson to be speaker,

and Trump has endorsed Mike Johnson as speaker, when I was at Mar-Lago recently,

talked to Trump and Mike Johnson, they had dinner together, they get along well,

in the same way that I have told all of you,

I would be voting for every cabinet nominee that Donald Trump put forward if I were a senator, Republican senator, because Trump won the

election. And I believe Trump should get the cabinet that he wants. Trump has said that he wants

Mike Johnson as his speaker of the House.

If I were a member of the Republican majority in the House, I would vote for Mike Johnson.

And if Mike Johnson can't deliver the Republican House to vote for Trump mandates and Trump ideas and bills, then maybe Mike Johnson should be replaced.

But Trump thinks he is the guy to enact the Trump 2025 agenda.

He should be the choice.
