Hour number two, great to have you guys with us. So it's just super quick and we're going right to the phone. This is a fan therapy session. Tigers lose again. Then again, so to the Astros. It's like nobody wants to make the playoffs. The question I have for you is the morning show says, if you're at the spite store and like to hell with this team, I hope they don't make it. You're a loser. I don't agree with that. I don't think any fans are losers here. I think if you desperately want them to make it, I understand it. I don't think you're wrong. But I also don't think people who have said, you know what, to hell with this. They didn't address their needs in the offseason.

They didn't address the needs at the deadline.

And then they clown card their way down the stretch to where, thank God, Houston's just

as bad as you are to last 10 days, or you'd be totally out of everything.

And I think a lot of people view it that, look, they just, they want their anger place somewhere. There's not going to be any accountability for this. And I don't know if there should be, but I'm just speaking facts. Like, you're not going to have a new owner. You're not going to have a new GM. You're not going to have a new, a new manager. So people are left to who, who do they direct their anger at? Basically the logo. You know, and again, it's a question of where you're at. Are you sad? Are you mad? Are you apathetic? I'll try it again tonight. And the Astros have lost five in a row. Well, you've lost eight in a row. You now basically have a 15% shot to win the division. That's gone. The two seeds off the table, gone. And the only reason you're a game up in the wild card is, well, flow chart. Houston can't get off the mat. So let's go to the people. I think everyone's feelings are pretty damn valid here. And we're trying to figure out what that consensus is. If there is and is one, go to Brian, 971. Brian,

on the side of not wanting them to make the playoffs at all. Not because I'm being a petty and spiteful fan,

but mainly because a collapse that bad where you were up 15 and a half games

and then just don't make the playoffs at all,

it might actually force Scott Harris to take some accountability for something

instead of just giving us the same robotic answers that we always get.

I don't think anybody really wants to watch this team get killed in playoffs.

I think the team lacks leadership in the locker room.

And personally, I don't think that we'll ever really be contenders

if guys like Riley Green is our best hitter in the lineup.

Brian, I think it's interesting because you can't prove there would be a shift in ideology

and how they do business, but you're right.

Like, you don't want them to feel like they're validated.

I think it would be a reality check that if they missed the playoffs, it would be a

reexamination of the offseason,

a reexamination of how they handled prospects and slow rolled, and then a reexamination of the

deadline.
