This team, the 2025 Mariners, had to play a game seven.

They have to. There is no other way for them to do it, and they have to play a game seven. They have to.

This team, Brock, that was swept five times during the regular season and bounced

back each time after being swept in San Francisco,

after being swept in New York, swept in Arizona, swept in Philly, swept in Tampa.

And I'm not even including the Dodgers at the end.

I guess I could.

But swept, I guess, really, six times.

This team that went from a marginal playoff team to an easy

number two seed almost overnight. This Mariner team, Brock, that needed all five games and

plenty of extra innings to dispatch with the Tigers and alternately agonizing in incredible fashion.

This team that won two on the road, lost two at home, just to convince half the

fan base that they were cooked and then roar back in game five, win one of the most

epic games you'll ever see, and then lay a complete egg in game six.
