I know fans were hoping the Mariners could get their first series win of the year.

Instead, it was a series loss to the Angels before we look ahead to the Rangers.

And Adam, was there anything positive in improvement, any kind of silver lining you saw in this one that at least should bode well for future series, let's say, in

Arlington tonight.

Well, I think you can start there near the end.

Julio Rodriguez coming through with a two-out, two-strike clutch single to score Cal

Raleigh to send the game to the extra innings.

That's twice already in the first

10 games of the season. We've seen Julio come through in some really big moments, did it in the

first series at home against Cleveland as well. So that's always fair or not. It's been kind of a

label on Julio Rodriguez early in his career. Does he have that clutch gene, if that's something you believe in?

And to have that twice here early in the season, I think is a really good sign for Julio.

Obviously, I think the Mariners would certainly love to see him get going more consistently at the plate.

And you can certainly say that of all three guys in the middle of the lineup, Cal Raleigh, Julio Rodriguez, and Josh

Naylor, the fact that the Mariners are four and six and getting virtually nothing from the

heart of their lineup, their three, you know, what are supposed to be their three best hitters,
