But some bad news, Laura Albanyes, who covers the Mets for Newsday, is reporting that Francisco

Lundor has a broken right pinky toe.

He was hitting the first inning on his foot.

Anthony Tacomo furthers it said that Lindor intends to play through it.

He is considered day to day.

Kind of stinks, though, because he has really been raking, hitting with power, being a great player as he is.

And to have to play through pain,

you hope that it doesn't affect him.

So right toe, I would think that that affects him more as a right-handed hitter, because

that would be the plant foot where he would pivot off that.

I don't know if it would affect him as much as a left-handed hitter with the front foot.

But that's terrible.
