Hey, our newsroom watching carefully, keeping an eye on this situation,

there was a meeting in the White House today.

Big City mayors with Joe Biden, Eric Adams went to, this is a big meeting.

He kept talking about it all week, this big meeting with the president.

His first big meeting with President Biden, I would be with other mayors, but it's a very important

meeting. And he arrived all dressed up there in one of those suits and ties and was at the White

House ready for this. Suddenly, about 9.30, Eric Adams had to leave. He said some sort of emergency,

had to get back to New York immediately, did not go to the meeting with the president,

rushed back to New York City.

We do not know why.

We still don't know why.

Now, it's scaring some people.

We don't know what the emergency was, something personal, something to do with the city.

Some people worried they got alert or worried about some terrorist attack or some sort of thing.

I don't mean to scare anybody, but we don't know what it is.

And it's very strange.

They haven't put out any word yet on why he did not go to the meeting at the last second,

left the White House and rushed back to New York.

He's back in New York.

Well, we'll wait and see if there's any announcement at all.
